How can complementary images and radar measurements help us understand planetary surfaces? I am interested in connecting observations with physical constraints, so that models explain surface properties and processes rather than recognise patterns alone.
Satellite Technology
Designing observations around scientific questions.
The information we can recover begins with the measurement itself. I want to explore how sensor design, viewing geometry, calibration, and data processing can be considered together, connecting instrument choices with the scientific questions we hope to answer.

What should be measured, processed, and transmitted when power, bandwidth, and computation are limited? I am curious about compact models and autonomous decisions for space exploration, with uncertainty and reliability treated as part of the problem from the start.
